Trout Fishing Report for Bennett Spring

How's Fishing?
Fishing continues to be very good. The stream is clear, the fish are decent sized and the weather is heating up.  A very good time to be standing in cool water.

This morning I talked with a very happy gentleman. He had a large brood, and today he had out-fished them all, sons and grand-kids.  He explained that his family were all using black and yellow marabou - and we all know that you simply can't go wrong with a black and yellow - but he tied on a gingersnap instead and got a hit with every cast.  He was pretty tickled with the whole thing.  One of the great things about this job is meeting new people who have a sense of humor and a willingness to try new things at any age.

Quote of the day
Weather has some to do with it. The Moon has some to do with it. The Wind has some to do with it Barometric pressure has some to do with it. However the best day to go fishing is any day that ends in a Y!Author:George Carr
