How's Fishing?

This winter has been a long cold one.  In spite of this, there have been some really nice weekends that some dedicated Bennett Spring anglers took advantage of.   Our photographer, George Sharon, caught some of this action fo share with those who weren't able to be here.
I have posted information about the upcoming annual pre-season meeting.  I will update this report after the meeting on Monday night.

Opening Day Dreaming

The following is an email I received from Mike Mitchell and is an open invitation to anyone who would like to attend.:

You are invited to our annual Pre-season Meeting on Monday, February 10, 2014 from 6:30-9:00 p.m.
It will be held at the Bennett Room (formerly Gaston’s Tackle).  This invitation is not limited to you only.  If you know of interested individuals who would benefit from the information being discussed, please invite them.
We will discuss issues regarding Bennett Spring State Park such as hatchery and park improvements, enforcement issues, and fishing on the Niangua River.  If you have any questions about the topics covered or would like another topic addressed please call me at 417-532-4418.
I look forward to seeing you on Monday, February 10, 2014.  If you would like to discuss anything before the meeting, you can stop by the hatchery office or give me a call at 417-532-4418.
