Fishing Report 10/16/2018

How's Fishing?

The weather was not very cooperative, but there was a great turn out for the Holland Derby this past weekend.  The spotty rain and cool weather made for some ideal fishing conditions.  According to the Bennett Spring Park Store $1809.60 was donated to the American Cancer Society.  The little bit of rain we did get did not change the stream conditions.  The water is low, clear, and filled to "swimming room" only capacity with beautiful trout.

Of Interest:

The 2018 catch and keep trout season is coming to a close.  If anyone would like to message either by Facebook or email the names of those anglers that have passed on during this past year.  We would like to pay our respects to them.  You can include just the name or a related story if you wish.  Weaver's Tackle Store on Facebook or weavers.fishingtales@gmail.com.

You won't catch every fish you try for, but don't let that discourage you, because the best fisherman who ever lived can't do it either.
